Dr. Wang has served as a judge/advisory board member for

• The $5M XPRIZE IBM Watson AI for Good Competition

• America's Seed Fund (NSF SBIR/STTR regular reviewer, offering up to $2M funding with 0% equity)

• Advisory board member for XPRIZE - IES $1M Digital Learning Challenge, and 

• The $4M Learning Engineering Tools Competition. 

Dr. Wang has coached and written proposals that have resulted in $21M funding collectively in the last 10 years.

Technical background: 

• PhD in Cognitive Sciences and Learning Analytics from Columbia University.

• Lead scientist and advisor at the National AI Institute for Adult Learning and Online Education (AI-ALOE) and ASU Online.
